The location, staff and facilities are superb
Our experience with Bookings.com is beginning to feel like it's a sure fire way to get the room with the view and sound of the air conditioners, or the one by the ice maker, or the aromas from the kitchen. This time it was an "inland" view, of the finely crafted roof coverings, vents and air handling units. A very disappointing start to an expensive weekend.
Room was terrible . Tub didn't drain . So we had to shower in standing water . Completely unacceptable
We enjoyed all the porches and sitting areas where we could just relax and read.
There were a lot of steps for my husband.
The history, style, service and staff.
Everyone was really friendly. The property was very pretty and well maintained.
The doulbe bed was too small for 2 people.
Staff very pleasant, no hard sells. Loved that we could eat at the grand dining hall or the take-out cafe, our choice. I felt so pampered. Will come back.
Would have enjoyed the pool bit too cold. A makeup mirror would be great.
A really beautiful resort. The Holiday lighting were breath taking. Wonderful staff and service. Great Southern charm. Wonderful food and great prices.
Internet was very unstable We rented bikes with a carrier that broke off in the middle of a 10 mile ride around the island. Check the bicycles you are renting. Also, the basket fell off and we crashed our iphone.
Historical elements very well done Staff exceptionally friendly
Waterfront bar/restaurant (the one on the pier) closed early and ran out of food. Quite disappointing
It seemed like a magical place. We took the tour and got the history about the club. It was fun to think about the good times had by all those who stayed. The grounds are beautiful. We had a corner room in the Cheroke building. Great. Staying there was the highlight of our trip!
The ambience!! Beautiful!!
Nothing. It was a great experience.
We stayed at Jekyll for only a night And felt it was very expensive for the time of year. The bathroom is very small & awkward to maneuver to justify the price- there had to have been 7-8 taxes that were applied to final bill plus we had to spend $6 just to get on the island
Wow, this place is so beautiful. I came here in November and the weather couldn't have been much better. The facilities are well preserved and stunningly beautiful. The staff delivers excellent service on a consistent basis. Great destination.
The view from our room, as it was onto the kitchen waste area.
Plumbing stopped up in sink and tub
Nice rooms, courteous staff
It is not in front of beach. We have to drive or take their free shuttle to go there.
